KKBF 2027 - Khon Kaen International Bouldering Festival in numbers: 2 days, 3 categories and 3 stages.
Sat 16 Jan: Day 1: Competition (07:00-19:30) at Hin Chang Si, Nam Phong National Park.
Sun 17 Jan: Day 2: Freestyle climbing and clinics (07:10-15:30) at Hin Chang Si, Nam Phong National Park.
Sun 17 Jan: Prize presentation and lucky draw (16:00) at Nam Phong National Park.
Khon Kaen Climbing Club's international outdoor bouldering festival, run with Issan Smile at the Hin Chang Si boulders in the Magic Forest area of upper Nam Phong National Park. Climbers enter Competitive (V4 and up, with prizes for first to third in each category once sponsors are confirmed), Beginner (V0 to V3+) or a combined Youth category for under-14s, and non-climbing parents or partners can come as observers without topo or crash-pad access. Entry is THB 1,800 for adults, THB 1,400 for youth and THB 700 for observers, covering two days of park access, two lunches, one dinner, water, topo access and first aid, plus a festival T-shirt for climbers; optional KKCC transport from Kosa Hotel in Khon Kaen city costs THB 400. Places are capped at 120 climbers and pre-registration is required, with no sign-up on the day; payment is in Thai baht by bank transfer, PromptPay or PayPal, and the limited crash pads can be reserved when you register. Camping is available at the park entrance on Saturday night.
