The first standalone kids' competition of Rocktober, Push Climbing's annual climbing festival at Crescent Wall in Crescent Mall, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. Now in its eighth edition, the festival is split across three weekends for the first time. The kids' day was open to children aged 8 to 13 who already climb on their own and are comfortable with heights, auto-belays and falling onto mats; a parent or guardian had to stay throughout and sign a waiver. Each child had three hours to climb as many routes as they could across the bouldering floor (6F) and the top-rope Pit (4F), recording them on a Rocktober scoring card like the adults. Climbers were ranked in 8-9, 10-11 and 12-13 age groups for girls and boys, so there were six winners. Places were capped at 40. Entry was 600,000 VND (400,000 VND for Crescent Wall members), including shoes and a harness if needed, a T-shirt with bib number, a certificate and a plush toy.
