The bouldering weekend of Rocktober 2026, Push Climbing's eighth annual climbing festival at Crescent Wall in Crescent Mall, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. It's open to climbers aged 10 and up (10 to 13 with a parent or guardian and a signed waiver), in separate men's and women's categories. Nobody picks a level: Saturday's qualification runs in three two-hour waves of 30 climbers, and the overall ranking places each climber in Beginner, Intermediate or Open, with the point thresholds kept secret. The top five men and women in each group climb one-hour finals on Sunday, giving six podiums, and the finals are streamed on Push Climbing's YouTube channel. Entry is 800,000 VND (600,000 VND for Crescent Wall members) for both days, with a kit including a bib T-shirt, tote and chalk; shoe rental is 80,000 VND. A combo ticket with the ropes weekend costs 1,200,000 VND (900,000 VND for members). The Bouldering Open winners are invited to the HCMC Indoor Climbing Championship on 21-22 November with entry paid, if they are Vietnamese, 18 or over and climb both lead and bouldering.
Climbers say Rocktober 2026: Bouldering Weekend is known for its atmosphere. For Intermediate climbers the problems felt spot on, against a mixed field. It's social and serious. Based on 8 climbers at the 2026 edition.
